Two Tiger Swallowtails

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus

Shawnee State Forest, May 1, 2011

  1. Thanks John- This is one of those shots that was completely serendipidous. I was photographing the butterfly on the left when the second tiger swallowtail came in for a landing. I only had a few seconds while both were lapping from the ground, so I was really glad to have the fast fame rate of the 7d! Only a few shots were in focus, and this was the best.

  2. Valuable information and excellent design you got here! I would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts and time into the stuff you post!! Thumbs up
