A Break in the Clouds

We had an excellent weekend. The rain held off enough for us to get in a round of golf near Lovell on Saturday, although it came back with several intermittent downpours in the afternoon, one of which occurred as I was floating around the pond in the life jacket with my aquapac covered digital camera. I managed to capture a few underwater videos of the floating vegetation that rings Little Pond. Sunday was a superb day for the wedding, the sun shining thoughout the morning and into the early afternoon, with clouds moving in only in the evening. Yesterday was cloudy with no rain, and I managed to capture several photographs of the multitude of fungi, plus I found a very interesting orchid blooming, one which I have never seen before. I'm anxious to find out which species it is, I didn't bring my manuals to Maine this time.

Today the skies are cloudy, gray, and a light rain is falling, but everything is still lushly green here. Tomorrow, we'll be headed home in the evening from the Portland Jet Port, back to our new home in Worthington.

P.S.

No Bear....but I will keep looking.

  3. Tom: I can hardly wait until I see your underwater shots. I followed your advice and captured Triangle Lake. I think I did it justice.
