  3. Great shot! I love the idea of "Waterfowl Friday" too. In this shot it looks to me like the bird on the left is trying to dive-bomb the bird on the right - while the latter is calmly gliding along! I'm no expert, but that's just what it looks like to me from the neck and wing positions. :)

    Thank you, there are more pictures to come.

    David- Interesting analysis! I didn't think of that. This pair was part of a much larger group that had been spooked further up the reservoir and flew downstream at me, up and over the dam.

    The waterfowl Friday idea was something that came right off the top of my head. I might continue these lines of posts though on Fridays. We'll see.
