Today I'm sending a blog post through Flickr, yahoo's online photo sharing site. Here is a photo of Big Bluestem grass from Slate Run Metropark. Big bluestem is an important component of the tall grass prairie, and is native in Ohio. However, it has been planted across the state for grassland habitat creation projects, as has been done at Slate Run.
