Last night at sunset, we had a nice little thunderstorm roll through Worthington. It was the perfect time to capture lightning- my first attempt at photographing this magnificent sign of summer here in Ohio.
Thanks & Thanks! Megan was a little nervous about these shots, but when I captured these, the rain had passed and the lightning was well up in the clouds.
Nice shots. I've been toying with the idea of trying to capture lightning, myself. Do you mind sharing your what settings you used? I'm in the gathering information stage of my venture so any insights would be helpful.
Christy- I shoot lightning by shooting continuous sequential 15-30 second exposures. When the bolt of lightning happens, I close the shutter, and I've got my image.
Nice!
