Male Downy Pecks Away- Video



You'll notice that our phone rings just a second after the bird flies away. I just wonder if it could somehow sense the radio signal and was scared by that. It is probably just a coincidence. If your phone sounds like ours, don't get alarmed, it is just the video. I'm not trying to call you!

    Chris, I have thought about doing the bird cam, but I haven't figured out how I'm going to do it. The first step I've got down- getting birds to come close to the house. That took a while. Chris- the painting looks great, what a great team we make! :)

    It’s fascinating to see the watchfulness of wildlife even when provided with free food. A reminder of life’s fragile preciousness. Thanks for this fine winter glimpse of a Downy Woodpecker.
