Gulls, Terns, and Skimmers

After writing the post mortem for this blog, I had a thought.  So much of my photography is displayed on this blog.  But it's all over the place.  Why not bring together my best photographs of each species, plant or animal, that I've photographed?  Well, I couldn't find a reason not to do this, so a new project has begun.  I've began with the birds.

Here are photos of each gull, tern, and skimmer that I have photographed.

It's Time....

It's time to officially "sunset" The Ohio Nature Blog

It's been pretty quiet around here, hasn't it?  While there hasn't been much happening here, The Ohio Nature Blog lives on Facebook as The Division of Natural Areas and Preserves' page.  If you like what was here, I absolutely guarantee you'll love our page.  It covers everything that our staff and volunteers find as they're out and about in Ohio.  You'll love it- like it today!

So, for   From now on, no more updates.  But don't worry.  I'm not sure where the urge is coming from, but I feel the need to produce content again.  And I'll being doing it a familiar place- my personal blog, which you can find right here, at www.tomarbour.com  Point your feedly to www.tomarbour.com and come along for the ride!

Super Summer Weekend #1

I'm back!  So much of my time goes to the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves Facebook page.  If you haven't liked it, please do.  We provide some pretty awesome comment, if I do say so myself.  It's right here:  https://www.facebook.com/ohiodnap

So, to start getting back into the swing of things, how about a look into our first super summer weekend?  Strawberry picking at Legend Hills, Velvet ice cream at Ye Old Mill, and a rather engaging trip to the Heart of Africa courtesy of the Columbus Zoo.

The boys are getting big, aren't they!  Four and six.. Drop me a comment, I'd love to hear from you.  And hey, super summer weekend #2 is about to begin.
