With yesterday's warm temperatures, I wanted to see if I could find any creepy crawlies around the Old Bur Oak, and this earthworm made the perfect photographic subject. It felt great to get out my macro photography gear in the middle of the winter.

ReplyDelete(Re: The grass in my photo. Sorry, but I've yet to get into IDing grasses so I have no idea what it is. About all I can tell you is that it's common in these parts and comes up in cleared areas without being planted. It grows in clumps, gets around two feet tall and has a fuzzy seen head when it opens in the fall. I'll try to remember to ask my neighbor who raises cattle and has an Ag background. Maybe he'll know.)
