I've been keeping and eye on that same tree, and I haven't seen it there since.

TomTom Arbourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01919759721690261620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21247637.post-39059593084151771172008-01-10T18:10:00.000-05:002008-01-10T18:10:00.000-05:00The red in the foreground adds great color and cha...The red in the foreground adds great color and character to this photo!NYCindividualhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03718558042616526578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21247637.post-83723613901770884652008-01-10T12:27:00.000-05:002008-01-10T12:27:00.000-05:00Ruan,Thanks for stopping by my blog. The picture is definitely exposed for the bird. I suppose if I had a stronger flash, I could have used it, and kept the background dark and still have the bird properly exposed...but that may have scared the bird. I did use the on board flash to add just a bit of extra light. This really helped bring out the color of the hawthorn fruits. The catch light in this bird's eye is also from the flash.

Thank you.

TomTom Arbourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01919759721690261620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21247637.post-25165283053271074762008-01-09T19:00:00.000-05:002008-01-09T19:00:00.000-05:00Nice picture. Great job!

David WebbAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10926083515508779822noreply@blogger.com
